Controversy is a constant in the realm of comics and video games. Visit the Gannett Gallery for a special exhibition examining these controversies and the communities that thrive regardless.

As comics, games, and video games have evolved over time, controversy has followed close behind. The Moral Panics in Comics and Video Games show at the Gannett Gallery sees 6 instances of such controversy throughout gaming history.

From the Comics Code to Gamergate, moral panics surrounding everything from the devil to sexuality have been prevalent surrounding games and comics. Join us at the Gannett Gallery to learn about these controversies through a handful of interactive exhibits, and to see a hint of the good that can be done with games, too.
